Grow With Us
O Farm (Overseas Farm Private Limited) is a new company based in Gulabbagh, Purnea. We are building a sourcing and processing business that sits close to the farms it depends on, and we need people who want to help build it properly.
We buy directly from farmers and farmer producer organisations across North Bihar and process sweet corn, baby corn, mushroom, makhana and fruit pulps for business customers and export markets. Because we are early in our growth, the systems, habits and standards we set now will shape the company for years.
The work has a direct effect on rural incomes in the region. Better sourcing means fairer prices at the farm gate, and every role in a processing unit is a job that did not exist here before. If that matters to you, we would like to hear from you.
Why O Farm
We are a small team, so new joiners are handed real work quickly. You will own tasks that matter to the business, and you will see the results of your decisions within a season.
Our work runs from field sourcing and quality checks to processing, logistics and export. People who are curious can learn how each stage connects, instead of seeing only one small part.
Many talented people from Seemanchal, Koshi and Mithila leave Bihar to find work in food and agriculture. We would rather offer that work here, in Purnea, near family and the land they know.
We expect people to treat each other, and the farmers we buy from, with courtesy. Pay is on time, expectations are stated clearly, and concerns can be raised without fear.
Food safety, grading, hygiene and documentation are skills we teach. You do not need to know everything on the first day, as long as you are willing to learn properly.
Every procurement plan, quality report or shipment you handle affects what a farming family earns. That connection is easy to see here, because the fields are only a short drive away.
Roles open up as the business grows. These are the teams we recruit for most often.
Working with farmers and FPOs across North Bihar on crop planning, collection and fair, quality-linked buying.
Checking produce at intake, monitoring hygiene on the floor and keeping the records that buyers and auditors ask for.
Running the lines that turn sweet corn, baby corn, mushroom, makhana and fruit into finished product.
Moving fresh produce in quickly and finished goods out on time, from farm pickup to dispatch.
Looking after B2B buyers in India and overseas, from first enquiry and samples through to shipping documents.
Handling payments to farmers and suppliers, compliance, purchasing and the day-to-day running of the office.

For Students
We plan to take on students of agriculture, horticulture and food technology for internships and fellowships. You would spend time in the field with our sourcing team and on the processing floor, working on real problems such as grading, shelf life and reducing post-harvest loss.
If you are interested, email us with your course, year of study and the months you are available. Use “Internship” in the subject line.

Send it to ofarmpvtltd@gmail.com and put the role area in the subject line, for example “Job Application: Quality & Food Safety”.
Add a short note with where you are based, the kind of work you want to do and when you could start. List the languages you speak, since field work often calls for Hindi and the local dialects.
We read every application. If your profile fits a current or upcoming need, we will contact you to arrange a conversation. We cannot reply to everyone individually, but we keep CVs on file for future openings.
